ITINERARY
Early morning departure from the Casale to reach the port of Salerno. Arrival in Positano by motorship to allowing you to enjoy one of the most beautiful coastlines in Italy, the Amalfi coast. Famous for its typical landscape Positano is a very picturesque town characterised by steep narrow roads, massive fortified walls and a series of imponent watchtowers. The most famous monument is the Saint Mary’s majolica tiled dome, which can be seen from every corner of the town. Inside you will be able to admire some examples of byzantine inspired art, amongst which an 18th-century icon of the Black Madonna. The tour will then continue to reach Amalfi, the most ancient of the four Maritime republics and symbol of the Amalfi Coast. The visit will include a guided tour of the old town centre and St. Andrew’s Cathedral, characterised by its 18th-century mosaic standing out on its façade. You will then have free time for lunch and shopping during the excursion. Finally, you will return to the port of Salerno and will be escorted to the Casale in the afternoon.
